A Polish Symphony

"A Polish Symphony" was the final book written by Mr Maciejewski. The autobiography was written by B.M. Maciejewski two years before his death in 2006.

It was published to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising in 1944 and dedicated to the memory of Armia Krajowa (Home Army) soldiers and the brave civilian population of Warsaw who gave their lives for the liberty of Poland.

Twelve Polish Composers

The composers are representative of the period of Polish music post 1945 and include Witold Lutoslawski, Andrzej Panufnik and Krzysztof Penderecki.

Karol Szymanowski and Jan Smeterlin– Correspondence and Essays
